During the last 20 years Joan Vann has lived in all Four Corners states in Boulder, Tucson, Albuquerque and Salt Lake City working in writing, PR, healing and sound healing while promoting musical/sound events. She currently lives in Tucson, AZ, “The Old Pueblo” – the didgeridoo capitol of the U.S. She adores the desert.
Joan has been privileged to work with sound pioneers Jonathan Goldman, president of Spirit Music, a master teacher of vocal harmonics; Don G. Campbell (“The Mozart Effect” and many books including Nadia Boulanger bio), Venerable Nawang Tashi Bapu, former head chant master for HH The Dalai Lama, the late Sarah Benson of Lesley College (Harvard). She has also worked with sound healer Steven Halpern who is considered the Father of New Age Music.
Joan served as PR director for Crystal Tones crystal singing bowls in Salt Lake City for several years. She founded Tucson Soundings and is a member of the Tucson NDE group and a Hospice Family Care volunteer.
